OUR VALUES

Phi Sigma Pi

Phi Sigma Pi is built on a Tripod of three ideals: Scholarship, Leadership and Fellowship which support the ultimate goal of social service. Combined, the Tripod guides our Members to be successful contributing citizens while at campus and into their professional careers.

Scholarship

Scholarship in our organization expands outside the classroom and is a part of a larger “always learning” philosophy. Beyond achieving high academic standing, our Chapter holds scholarship events that encourage the spirit of lifelong learning.

Leadership

Phi Sigma Pi provides the opportunity for students to gain core leadership skills to strengthen oneself and apply those skills to pay it forward. Through exploring communication skills for emerging leaders and team management, brothers learn to inspire a positive change within their communities. Leadership in Phi Sigma Pi also extends through service in our communities.

Fellowship

In addition to a fraternal culture that develops lifelong friendships, Phi Sigma Pi also fosters a sense of teamwork and camaraderie. A focus is placed on the application of professional skills and the fostering of leadership qualities by promoting and advancing the welfare of humanity.

TESTIMONIALS

"From the minute we became initiates we were greeted by brothers who would become nothing less than lifelong friends. Phi Sigma Pi has given me a family, countless study groups, and an infinite number of role models to use as daily inspiration. When I look around in chapter what I see is brothers with such deep passions about such a diverse collection of subjects that I cannot help but be in awe at their knowledge. Phi Sigma Pi isn’t just an organization, it is a home. It is the home of the warmest hellos and the toughest goodbyes. It is the home of my friends and my support system. It is the home of the greatest memories that I will cherish for a lifetime. It is the home of my one true family. Phi Sigma Pi has made these past four years the reason that I smile before I go to sleep at night and the reason why it will be so difficult to leave Cornell. The only consolation that will greet me upon my departure from college will be the knowledge that my brothers aren’t just my brothers in college, but for life"
